Service, by all definitions of the word, is a sliding scale. For some, they think of Memorial Day, where we remember the soldiers that sacrificed their lives in service to our country. Others think of service as a verb, like having service done to your car. As Christians, service is a necessity in our faith. Service as a Christian means showing love in all that we do for anyone and everyone, and constantly looking for other ways to serve and help those around us. Sometimes that requires that we take our idea of service and look at it from a different angle, or even stepping out of our comfort zone and getting dirty. No matter how we choose to serve, we must always keep the central goal in mind: in all that we do, we are serving the Lord Christ.
