WHY WE GIVE
We give because God has given us so much! In 1 Corinthians 16, Paul tells the Christians in Corinth to lay aside money on the first day of the week so that a financial gift could be taken and distributed among the poorer Christians in Jerusalem. We continue this act of collective giving each week to help expand the Kingdom of God in various ways here in Madison and throughout the world. Collectively, our funds can go further and have a greater impact on the world.
We also participate in some special givings throughout the year, as we have opportunity. These include disaster response, Ukraine, and other special efforts that are beyond our regular weekly budget. Below, you can find ways to give to these efforts as well as set up a recurring online weekly contribution.
weekly CONTRIBUTION
Each week we offer take up a contribution, usually following the Lord’s Supper. The funds collected go towards furthering the Gospel in our community and across the world as well as building up the church locally. You can pick up an itemized budget with a full breakdown of our annual budget at the Welcome Center in the main lobby.

Throughout the year we have opportunities to give to ministries like disaster relief or other ministries that are outside our weekly contribution. You can find a list of those opportunities as well as the links to give directly to support those ministries by clicking the “Give Now” button below. Through online giving, you can set up a one-time donation or schedule a recurring gift.
Give In-Person
Each Sunday we offer a time to give immediately following the Lord’s Supper. You may place your offering in the baskets at each of the lobby entrances.
FAQs
Click on the “Give Now” button above under the “Weekly Budget” block. You will then be taken to a giving page that asks for the amount. Under the frequency tab, choose Weekly, BiWeekly, or Monthly. You will need your routing number and bank account number to complete the transaction.
Click on the “Give Now” button above under the “Special Giving” block. You will be taken to a page that allows you to choose which special giving opportunity you’d like to contribute towards. From there, simply follow the prompts.
- Log in to givingtools.com using the same email address you used to set up your recurring gift.
- Find the recurring gift you’d like to change and cancel it.
- You will then need to navigate back to this page and set up a new recurring gift with the new amount. If you anticipate adjusting your amount at the beginning of each year you can set an end date that will automatically cancel that gift on the last Sunday of the year. You can then set up a new recurring gift without having to manually cancel the old one.
