Special Giving

NEPAL, COLOMBIA, & VENEZUELA

Our missionaries are serving people affected by devastating natural disasters in Nepal, Colombia, and Venezuela.

In Nepal, catastrophic flooding and landslides have destroyed homes and critical infrastructure, leaving thousands of people dead, missing, displaced, or in need of assistance. Joey Barrier and local ministry partners are serving families affected by the disaster.

In Colombia, a major earthquake has caused widespread destruction, affecting hundreds of thousands of people. Luis Alvarez and Wilson Orozco are helping respond to the physical and spiritual needs of families facing tremendous loss.

In Venezuela, two powerful earthquakes have damaged homes, businesses, health facilities, and other infrastructure. Luis and Wilson will also be serving among those affected, offering help, encouragement, and the hope of Christ.

These disasters are more than statistics. They represent families who have lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones. We have an opportunity to help.

Your generous gift will provide practical assistance to people in need and support our missionaries as they serve these communities.

LADS TO LEADERS SPECIAL GIVING

The Lads to Leaders (L2L) Program provides excellent opportunities for leadership training for our young (preschool through high school). Attending the L2L convention in Nashville each year can create a financial burden for many who attend with registration fees, hotel room costs, food, etc. Even with our budget assisting with these costs, each family typically spends a minimum of $170 per child in additional costs to attend. You now have the opportunity to help defray these additional costs through our online Special Cause Giving. Every dollar you give will reduce the financial burden and encourage more families to participate. For additional information please get in touch with Michael Rainey or Mark Kelly. NICKY PRESSNELL BI-VOCATIONAL MINISTER SCHOLARSHIP

Heritage Christian University has established the Nicky Pressnell Bi-Vocational Minister Scholarship to honor the life and service of Nicky Pressnell, a dedicated minister who worked tirelessly in both ministry and the workforce. This scholarship is designed to support bi-vocational ministers—those who serve in ministry while also holding a second job—by providing them with financial assistance to further their education at Heritage Christian University. Funds from this scholarship will go directly toward: tuition and fees, books and materials, and any outstanding educational balance preventing enrollment. By contributing to the Nicky Pressnell Bi-Vocational Minister Scholarship, you are helping those who serve—allowing dedicated ministers to receive the training and education they need to become even more effective in their calling. If you would like to give towards this great scholarship, click HERE.
