Having considered the rhythms of Jesus’ life of making space for the gospel, preaching the gospel, and living out the gospel, the best use of our time is abiding in Christ so we may be trained in His ways. Like a trellis in a vineyard, this is going to require structure and discipline that will guide us, protect us from harm, and make room for God’s transformative work in our lives. As we consider our purpose in a world filled with attraction, reaction, and distraction, we must ask ourselves, “What structure will I need to grow in Jesus’ Way?”
